Cockatoo Concrete & Limestone has been operating in its present structure since early 2004, although Jon has been in the concrete game since 1997. Because he has had experience in many other trades before settling on concreting, there is a wide range of (concrete-) related services that we can offer you. This versatility can be a great advantage to you, saving you the head aches of yet another trade to deal with, the ever present ‘timing problem’ with different trades, and will usually work out cheaper.

Our versatility is also reflected in the fact that we offer nearly all available types of decorative concrete. This and our flexible approach to your wishes have proven to be the key aspects of our success. Our flexibility lies in the fact that we are a small team. We are adaptable and our quotes are tailor made; we are happy for instance, to accommodate your own labour input or to install (depending on what it is there might be a small fee) a product supplied by you. We can also change aspects of a certain product or combine different effects and or materials to stay within your budget or to suit your wishes / esthetical requirements.

None of this, however, will compromise the quality of our work. It is the one thing we will not do; we don’t lower our standard of work to suit your budget. Although guarantees are hard to find in ‘the concreting world’, we go to considerable lengths to minimise the chance of cracking. We properly compact every job, use expandable foam between walls and our concrete, we cut control joints at 2.5m intervals max. and never go under 85mm (avg. thickness) for foot traffic areas, and 100mm (avg. thickness) for vehicle traffic.

Cockatoo Concrete & Limestone is based in Hamilton Hill (South of the river) but we work all over the metropolitan area including Mandurah. In addition to this; because we don’t mind a change of scenery, we are open to jobs all over the state (including rural areas).
